Can any one tell me if two network cards can work in
win98 to support to separate networks? In win2000 and XP
it works fine

It works fine in Win98, too. I recommend using two different
makes/models so that you can tell which one is which when making
network settings.

Just the other day, I learned that you can assign two different ip
addresses for one nic in W2K.
Cool.
Don't think it works in Win98 though.

You can. It needs an edit to the registry. I have mislaid the details but
I am sure somebody else will respond with them.
