Server configuration: the PoPTop server on the SUSE 9 - 2.6.5-7.97.
My clients (windows 2000) connect to the internet through proxy. i
define two different clients in pap-secrets file.
Each client can connect to the server and works ok, but... this clients

can't work via vpn simultaneously.
in log file appear following messages:
pptpd[13906]: Discarding out-of-order packet 6, already have 54
..................................
Which kind of the additional configuration it's needed?

Best in regards,
Konstantin

Are you sure that the 'proxy' is not a NAT router?

PPTP does not stand NAT, as the tunneled packets seem to
come from one host, and there is no way to mark them for
the clients separately.

Thank you for the answer.

The installed 'proxy' is a NAT router..

If the PPTP server does not stand NAT, which kind of software i need to
install to create the VPN server for my network configuration?

If you can change the VPN tunnel, I'd recommend
OpenVPN <http://openvpn.net/>.

It can transport the tunnel on one UDP or TCP
port with the NATable standard protocols.

There are handlers for certain versions of Windows, too.
