I have a desktop PC in one bedroom using a D-link DWL-810+ wireless
bridge to access a D-link access point wired into a D-link router.
Works fine. Here's my question:

I want to add a second desktop PC in another bedroom with a second
DWL-810+ to the network. These units have a factory default address
of 192.168.0.30 to access their little page for setup.

1) Will I have to change one of them to another IP address?

2) And should I change something from channel 6? Everything in the
house (soon two wireless bridges, 1 wireless access point, and one
wireless notebook) is on channel 6.

Thanks,

Uncle Ron

Always avoid units with duplicate IPs on the same subnet.
However the bridges will connect to your WLAN regardles which IPs you
assign them.

No. Everything must be set to use the same channel.

Are you even able to change something? If I use infrastructure mode,
the only place I can choose a channel is on the AP. The rest simply
follows.
