Anyone successfully do this? I'm trying to do this with a Shuttle box with a
USB Netgear WiFi adaptor. Is there only a chance of this working if it's
onboard and there is a BIOS option?

Or are there any other solutions?

Thanks
Steve

You need network cards that support Wake On Lan , and AFAIK , the only ones
that do are PCI versions , as if the machine is powered down then the USB
devices have no power being fed to them

I don't think any wireless adapters support WOL yet, it maybe because there
is no wireless standard for it, perhaps because the card has to select the
correct channel to respond to and may also be vulnerable to being triggered
by someone else's wakeup signal?
