How do I turn off the reason for shut down on my Server 2003. This is driving
me crazy as I load drivers and set up the server with all the shutdowns and
restarts needed?

Hi,

I don't have much information about your setup (e.g. workgroup or active
directory domain).

In workgroup the processes would be this. Open Local Policy Editor (Start ->
Run -> gpedit.msc -> and click OK). Under Computer configuration drill down
under Administrative templates -> System. In right pane look for policy
named "Disable Shutdown Event Tracker" and double click on it. Set it to
disable.

If you are in domain, do this on OU or domain policy.
