turning mn-500 into a switch

I have a mn-500 and want to use it as a switch. I have
enabled bridging and turned off the wireless access, but
nothing works when I try to access the configuration page
through my network. I can access it if directly
connected to the mn-500 with a cable. I assume there is
a particular way I need to connect it to my existing
network, like cables going into a certain port, etc.
Anyone know how to do this? My network has a linksys
wireless G router and a linksys four-port switch that are
configred correctly, but I can't seem to correctly
integrate the mn-500.
Thanks
Jerry
