I have been using TSWEB from my Win2000 server for sometime now. I had some server problems that required restoring my IIS directory. Now when I launch TSWEB from IE6 I get the login screen, but when I click connect the password screen appears as a missing picture. Just a full blank screen.

Can someone tell be what I need to do to get to the password screen?

Thanks - Steve

Not sure, but just to help troubleshoot, can you connect directly just to TS
using the Remote Desktop Client/Terminal Services Client?

Hi Steve,
I've seen this before. Normally this means that the ActiveX control
is unable to connect to port 3389 on the Terminal Server. Can you use the
normal RDP client to connect to the TS system? That would validate that
3389 is open and clients are able to connect.

Some people are under the impression that the TSWEB access means that the
Terminal Session is going over port 80 through IIS. This is not the case.
The IIS server just provides IE with the ActiveX control that Turns IE into
an RDP client. So IE then connects to the TS Server over port 3389 .

Not sure if that is your problem but it appears to be.
Please let me know.

Thank you,
