Trying to use my laptop to broadcast its internet connection wirel

I have my laptop directly connected to the internet through a ethernet cable.
I want to be able to connect to the internet on other computers in my office
wirelessly. I've seen it done before, but I don't remember how. Somehow the
guy had his computer connected to the internet, and was sending out his
signal to our computers wirelessly, and we were able to get online.
