Trying to hook up my network computer to base station

This is the second time I have bought this product and
have not been able to make this work. When I copy my
floppy disc with the wireless security key I get a
message that says the network setting file does not
contain the key and asking that I manually enter it. When
I do it says it is not correct. Very frustrating. Help
