I don't think you mentioned which adapter you are using but if it is a
Netgear there was a Code 10 problem with the drivers on several
laptops which was supposed to have been fixed with later driver
updates. Try downloading and installing the latest card drivers and
see if that helps. I know of Netear problem but maybe there are other
brands with similar problems so still worth a try with nre drivers.
Personally I *never* use the supplied drivers with anything - I always
download the latest from the net and install those.
