Trying to connect print services from my existing 98se to my xp laptop

I have been trying for two days to set up my home network,
I can get the computers to see each other and see the
printer, but when I try to print from my xp, the desktop
says proper driver not found. I can print from the desktop
ok. I am running both computers thru a linksys wireless-g
router. Any suggestions, I came across an issue
compatibilty listing in microsoft yesterday, but cant find
it today, it told of this exact problem and how to get
around it.
