Trying to access 98 files from wireless network

I setup a wireless network at home which is made up of a
desktop running windows 98 and a laptop running
windows2000. Using my laptop I can locate the desktop
computer on my network. However when I double-click on it
from search results list, it gives the message '\\myserver
is not available. There are currently no logon servers
available to service the logon requests.' Any suggestions
on resolving this?

Is your WIndows 98 part of a domain and set for user level share access? If
so, it cannot find a Domain Controller to verify the user credentials being
sent by the Windows 2000 laptop. Try to change the Windows 98 to a workgroup
if the DC is not available.
