This is not from Microsoft. It will install the W32.Swen worm onto your
system. Please read this post by Mike Maltby, MS-MVP :

" Microsoft DO NOT send unsolicited e-mails containing attachments and
if you have received one then you are probably the recipient of the
latest of such worms, this being known as W32.Swen. Microsoft do
however send written notice of the availability of security patches to
those who subscribe to their security bulletins but never unsolicited
patches. See
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...patch_hoax.asp
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...lerts/swen.asp

For more details of W32.Swen see
http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/(E-Mail Removed) and
http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/defau...virus_k=100662
which includes a link to their Swinger removal tool.

That was quick ... who done it ? Who spilled the beans ?
And, does Swen strip the X-Newsreader out of the header ?

It arrived with the attachment, but it's a one-byte shell of its former
self. Someone's AV caught it before it got posted. And no, there's no
X-Newsreader reference in the header; in fact, the header seems to be
missing a lot of info.
