Hi,

I am trying to establish a trust from a new 2003 domain to an old NT4
domain. I understand that I should be making an external trust, however it
falls at the first hurdle saying it is not a valid windows domain name!

I dont have all the MS qualifications, but I pretty much know what I'm doing
and am certain the info I have provided is correct.

Has anyone any ideas?

Many Many thanks advance

Paul

Solved it!

It turned out to be a rogue entry in the LMHosts file on the 2003 server!

Thanks anyway
