Hello
I have a problem while connecting to Windows 2003 Servers by Remotedesktop.
I found an old Thread which descirbes nearly exact the same problem I have,
but without solution:

http://groups.google.ch/group/micros...hl=de&ie=UTF-8

The difference: we have only two domains (A and B). Domain B trusts A with
an "Foreign trust". All permitted Users from Domain A can succusfully
connect by RDP to our Windows 2008 machines in Domain B, but its not
possible to connect to Windows 2003 Servers by RDP. The logon process on the
console does work!

Does anybody know why this problem occurs.

Thank you

Urs Wegmüller

Hello Meinolf,
The message at the logon screen is:

The system cannot log you on due to the following error: The specified
domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Please try again or consult your system administrator.

In the eapplicationlog i get following message (1219):

Logon rejected for ... Unable to obtain Terminal Server User Configuration.
Error: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

I hope that can help...

Thank you

Urs Wegmüller
