trusted domain problem

I have two windows 2003 servers in a VPN
one DAMASCO (192.168.1.2) {domain:centermacuco}
two TRIPOLI ( 192.168.2.254) {domain: afpenaserver}

I can not establish e trusted relationship between these servers, when i go
to the menu
Active directory Domain And Trust , late i click on the domain properties ,
in trust
have the boton new trust , i write from the server
DAMASCO(domain:centermacuco)
to make a trust with tripoli what DNS or netbios name i must write in the
new trust wizard???

yes i can ping between the servers
because they have the same subnet mask
Server 1 Server 2
192.168.2.254 192.168.1.2
255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0
How I must to configure the DNS????

Hello Alejandro,

On both domains create stub zones for the other domain, just follow the New
zone wizard and give time for replication of the data between the servers.

I have same problem.
I think that the problem could be the domain without suffix.
