Hi,

I have managed to setup a trust relationship between two domains in Windows
2003 - first domain (TREE.LOCAL) and the second domain (XMAS.COM).

However, there seems to be a fault and the domains are not trusting. If I
try and validate, I get the following:

TREE.LOCAL will ask me for the username and password of Administrator for
XMAS.COM and will validate perfectly.

XMAS.COM when trying to validate says that No Domain Controllers for
TREE.LOCAL can be found.

Any ideas?

I would check the DNS settings first. Can you ping each DC by FQDN?

yes - can ping both DC's by FQDN. However, don't think the XMAS.COM DNS server has a list of the DC in TREE.LOCAL
