Truemobile 1300 + Netgear WGR614 in g-mode?

I've been reading about the trouble people been having with this
combination.
Later I saw someone saying he got it to work with latest Dell drivers for
the
TM1300 and the latest beta BIOS for the WGR614.
Whats is the final word? Does it really work in 54mbps g-mode or not?

I would really really appreciate any information
