You don't have any CD that came with your system, not even a
"recovery" CD? If so, you were screwed.
But, see if you have a Win98 directory on your disk. Or some other
directory with a lot of .cab files in it. That could be your
installation directory. Then when you get the message about the Win98
CD, point it to that directory. Also try pointing to C:\Windows, or
C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\System, etc. Sometimes the files are
there somewhere on your hard drive. You could also do a search on your
system for one of the files and see where it is located.

I didn't have one as the computer came preloaded with windows 98, so I
used one
from another computer purchase. I keep getting dialog boxes that say
file not found,
with a number of .dll files and others not being found (i.e. -
netmib1.dll,
secur32.dll, svrapi.dll, snmapi.dll, protman.exe, ndis2sup.vxd, ......).
I tried cancelling out of this and skip file, and as a result, I
cannot get the
network running. I'm not sure what to do.
