In all actuality, this answer is anly partially coreect,
thoug still useful to THIS situation. A bit of searching
on the web with the D-Link 800ap+. See, D-Link DOES say on
their web site that it will ONLY connect to certain D-Link
routers and equipment. BUT, and this is a BIG but, it will
also connect to quite a few other access points and
routers. Which ones? Welllll, that's the part you need to
search the web for. Obviously, so far, it seems the MN-500
is NOT one of those that D-Links like.
