trouble sharing a printer

I'm having trouble sharing a printer and cannot seem to find the problem.
It used to work fine but I must have changed something and now it no longer
does.

PC 1 is connected through its printer port to a printer.
PC 1 and PC 2 are connected through a router and wireless network through
which both connect fine to the internet.
PC 1 can print fine to the printer.
PC 2 cannot print to that printer. When I try, I get an error message
telling me it failed to print. The printer is shared in both PCs.

When I open Network places, it shows my network group. But when I open
that, my PCs are not shown. Yet, when I search for my PC2 computer, it is
found and shown to be part of that (empty) group.

What do I need to do?

Jeff

By searching from PC 2 I could "find" PC 1, but printer still will not print
from PC 2

Additional info: even though search on PC2 can find PC1, I am told it is not
accessible or that I have no permission to access it.

Similarly, PC1 cannot find the network path to PC2.

But both can access the internet using the same wireless network!

Do you have any 3rd party security software?

Yes, Zone Alarm. What should I look for or permit there?

That was it. I had had to re-install ZA on one of the PCs and forgot to do
that!

Thanks.
