Hi,

I have a big problem with shares in remote network environment. The
user gets disconnected every time
a new user connects to a share.

In the snap in shares/session I see that a user is connected with a
document open. I connect
from the different computer with another user, the user is gone and
the next is connect. The have
the same IP, because the are coming from the VPN Server, but with
different usernames of course.

The user wich lost the connection now and get a error message that
"The local device name is
already in use", but he can browse too. Then he is in the session
again an the other user
get's the error message.

I do not batch map network driver, and I don't think this has
something to do with that ... or this autodiconnect or
something else.

I have the following structur

Linux ( Debian with OpenVPN ) 192.168.88.1
|
|
Windows Server 2003 ( 192.168 .88.2) / with shares

ping, connecting, browsing everything works find, unless this issue
that I can connect with more than 1 user
I think.

- I check Policies, could not find anything, should there be someting.
- Share is configured with max user

maybe someone as a clue.

is there some kind of log file, I coming from Linux and wondering if I
can debug this a little bit more ...

Greetings
Erik

Do you mean by that "The have the same IP"?

Hi,

Yes correct the have the same source IP, because there are coming from
the Remote Gateway. I have
this in another setup, and it works in another setup perfectly ...
