Question: Some of my 98 client machines keep getting
the "the domain password you supplied is incorrect.."
message. This seems to be intermittant however. I'm also
using WINS. When pinging the server by name, it returns an
IP from god knows where that is incorrect. I've tried
clearing the netbios name cache and checked the wins
database for bad entries. I cant decide if this is a name
resolution problem or a logon problem. I would have
expected a different error message if it couldnt find the
server during the logon process but who knows with 98. Any
ideas?
