Trouble browsing to one machine from one machine ...

After implmenting a new Win2003 server to replace an existing Win2000 Server
on the network (same machine name) there is one other server on the AD that
is having trouble browsing the machine from Network Places. The pings will
respond quickly, and every other machine on the network can apparently browse
and access the new server quickly and easily. But when trying to browse the
new server from this one particular Win 2003 server, say from My Network
Places and then typing in '\\Servername' from the address bar, the machine
will hang for about 90 seconds or more with the hourglass until the shared
folders are displayed. There is nothing suspicious showing showing-up in the
Event Logs, including the Security Event log on the new machine. As
mentioned, pings all work fine from the new machine, the arp cache has been
flushed, and both servers have been rebooted. TIA for any help on this one
....

Yes, it is. The second NIC is disabled though. Should I check the WINS
entries to make sure that there are no secondary IP addresses?

Or use dcdiag and netdiag to check any errors.

Cool, thanks. I am not sure what was causing the problem but last night we
actually just moved the server to a different subnet and everything seemed to
have cleared-up. This was a weird issue though ...
