trouble accessing internet via wireless connectivity

downloaded 85 windows updates, security patches and windows xp hotfix.. since
then having trouble accessing internet via wireless ....

I can access websites home page but cant go any further.. getting Internet
Explorer "cant display pages" ... ie., http://ccclib.org(cant access card
catalog),
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsu...?ln=en-us(cant
access
review history) BUT

i can access internet with no problem when using LAN/Ethernet connectivity
from same computer or wireless connectivity from another computer via same
gateway router..

This sounds like a firwall issue on your router. Login to your ADSL router
and check to see if there any any particular firwall settings for the
Wireless connection.
