I'm trying to figure out how to get my wireless router to allow me to
send files to my IM contacts using Trillian. I would like to know what
settings would work for MSN, AIM, and ICQ.

I have a DI-614+ wireless router. My computer is running Windows 98 SE
(so I don't think there's any UPnP built into it, but the router itself
is UPnP-capable).

I am looking forward to your replies. Thanks in advance.

Nothing to do with it being wireless, same as anything on a router. Check
Trillian tech support, to see what ports they use and open/map those ports -
or create a dmz host on your pc - or do whatever else they recommend.

I've already checkd in with Trillian's forums (tech support is for
paying customers only, and I have only the freeware version), but so far
no one's coming up with answers.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to put my computer in the DMZ because
that does expose my computer a lot more than I prefer. I remember being
able to send files before when I had an old SMC 4 port router, but I
can't remember the settings.
