i'm tring to setup an app triggered port forwarding, but
when i get to the triggered port forwarding's menu in the
outbound field it only allows me to input one port number
as opposed to the inbound field where i can put a range of
port es...6898-6990.why and most important if the outbound
is only one number how do i found out which is the port
number that the app uses.?
ps:and i still don't understand what to put in the
description field

What app are you trying to setup.

If you are using triggered port forwarding, your app in question must make
an outgoing request on the same port all the time (least once every 2
minutes). Once this outgoing request is made, then incoming ports (in your
case, 6898-6990) are opened for 2 minutes (if no additional traffic on the
additional port is made).

Description field: put anything you want there (i.e. a description of why
you made the port forward).
