Trex compilation

Have someone compiled Trex completely?

Trex is an application firewall, a quite complex one.
I find it's very interesting, but I can't compile it
totally. I almost can compile most parts of it, using
a lot of hacks, but it fails to compile in some places
I can't fix.

Does someone know of a distribution/version of Linux
where it compiles without errors?
