Trendnet TEW-432brp drops signal

I have this router and the wired unit keeps dropping the signal. It is
wired through a SB4220 Cable Modem. It will just drop out maybe 6 to
10 a day and reconnect again.

Is this just a faulty router or is it common to a cheapie like
Trendnet.

Various Trendnet suggestions have not changed the situation.

Any suggestions?
