I have Installed new Windows Server 2003 standard 64bit.

Question> Is the copy profile, in XP Pro Computer>Properties>advanced>
userprofiles.
Still the best method for transfering a profile from a previous NT domain
profile. Or does this even work?
Is there a better method?

Thanks for any answers

If XP,...try the File and Settings Transfer Wizard,...it supposedly works
with NT4, Windows2000, XP.

It does not copy or move a profile,...it only copies the relevant data. A
new clean profile must be created in the target location first, then log in
as the effected user, run the Wizard to do the import,..log out,...log back
in. In my experience it does not do the users Outlook Profile, so that has
to be done afterwards.
