transferring traffic onto another network interface

Hi,

I have 2 ethernet interfaces that reside in the same network. Linux
boots via nfs using one of the interfaces. What I want to do is,
disable the original interface that nfs was using, enable the other
interface, and continue using that for nfs, without disrupting the
ongoing nfs transfers.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Bahadir
