Hi, thank you for your help in advance.

I just set up a new DC, and would like to transfer the DHCP configurations
and database (such as current leases) from an old DC to the new one by using
"netsh dhcp server import/export" command provided by Resource Kit.

I would like to ask:
1.) Do I need to reboot all the machines after the transfer?
2.) How do I check out and see if the clients will talk to the new DHCP
server? Any specific commands I can try rather than the "IPCONFIG"?
3.)Should I stop the old DHCP server before I export the database? SHould I
start the DHCP server before I import the db?
4.) What else I need to watch out?

Thank you very much for your help (again)!

Hi Rob Lin, thank you for your response! In fact I have read the article you
refer before posting this question...

I have done the migration. But I encountered some issues and I will post
those as a new thread. Thank you for your help!
