Tracking down a device with the wrong IP address?

Hello,

There is a device on the network with the wrong IP address. There are over
200 devices connected to the network. The DHCP server is configured to not
give out this address - it is out of the range. So someone put a device on
the network and hard coded the IP.

I need to track down this device. I have the mac address of it but can't
get a name on the device. I might be able to guess the network card type
from the mac but I'm not sure how much else I can get.

Any suggestions short of turning on and off every device to track it down?

Thanks

check the arp table in your switches, they will show you exactly where it is
