Is there a Traceroute program for windows, that will use a remote web proxy
that has been assigned in IE ? or that has option to assign a proxy to use,
in the same way that IE allows doing that?

This would allow a comparison of routes to a web site that has become
intermitently/mostly unavailable via IE alone (direct route), but always
available when a remote proxy is set in IE. (same happens for Mozilla)

Already have 98se's dos tracert and Visualroute which indicate downstream
servers 8th or 9th hop using icmp, or 14th hop using udp, are timming out or
congested or just not responding?, but would like a way to look at route
used when the test proxy is used in IE, which then has no problem connecting
to the site.

Any suggestions?
