What are you running for your HPNA router? Is it a Linksys HPRO200? If so
then my set up is like this: Cable to HPRO Wan Port-Linksys WAP11 connects
to Lan port of HPRO. The HPNA computers are connected to the HPNA ports of
the router. I tried a similar set up using the Linksys "G" router with the
DHCP disabled and configured like an access point, but I could not get it to
work. The way I have it set up all my computers are able to share files and
printers. Although my access point is a B, I would imagine that they make
one in a G. To get the wireless side of the network (2 laptops) up and
running took 20 minutes from the time I opened the box to setting up the WEP
keys on the second laptop. If you are worried about speed, I beleive the
HPRO passes 100Mbps on the LAN port. Anyway, its fast enough for me to
download pictures from my desktop to my laptop, edit them in PhotoShop and
send them to a networked photo printer without much effort.
