TKIP versus AES?

I know the basics of the difference (change the keys every once in a
while versus a better encryption algorythm), but is there any
practical difference (better security, better interoperability)
between the two?

Is WPA with AES the same as WPA2, aka 802.11i?

Will the built-in WinDoze XP supplicant handle any and all of the
above?

Thanks!

I understood WPA-PSK AES to be WPA2...

This just came up in one of our meetings and after everything I read,
it seems like WPA w/ AES would be WPA2, but if anyone has a link to
documentation confirming this, I certainly would appreciate it.
