Tiscali spam email problems

Has Tiscali got a major problem with spam email as I am receiving loads of
emails not even addressed to me and all contain a dodgy attachment. The
problem seems to be getting worse.

Anyone else getting this with Tiscali email?

Perhaps you are getting some for me then. I receive over a hundred
emails a day over 4 tiscali.co.uk addresses and probably manage one
spam a month, so no problem here.

I pay their annual charge for spam filtering and the spam has cut down from
80-100 per day to a handful. Still annoying to get a handful but I need to
keep their email address.

In case you were wondering - those "not" addressed to you are actually
addressed to you, but the spammer/virus is using the Bcc field to
contain your and probably 1000s of other recipients email address.

Time to use Mailwasher (or similar)...

I`ve got some decent filters you`re welcome to use - a slightly older
version is online at http://www.coreutilities.co.uk but if you drop me
a line per my sig I can send you my current set of filters.

Surprisingly many of them can be sh*tcanned by blocking APNIC and
LACNIC IP ranges, as well as multiple TO/CC addresses (I use 7+ email
addresses as a check)
