Checked my email this morning, and guess what, Tiscali are reducing my subs
by 2 squids per month and removing the 15 gig cap. Just have to wait and see
if that happens. Have they just realised that folk are waiting for their 12
month contract to expire and then offski? If this is all genuine AND they
sort the speed issues, reliability, naff customer services, etc. they may
become a good provider.................Hmmm, I wonder.

Also, a new fair usage policy

Looks like all of the caps are going apart from one.

This is incorrect. AFAICT the caps are unchanged. The peak time
bandwidth limits are an *additional* limitation. On the other hand I
have now "upgraded* my 512kbs/30Gb package from £15.99 to £14.99 so I'm
not complaining.

Of course I could be wrong since finding the actual caps is quite
difficult.

Your email tells us nothing specific. Can you please tell us all what you
have been paying (and for what) and what you will be paying when they change
their offers.......

Thanks

Personally I would never never touch Tiscali with a 500 foot bargepole
no matter how cheap they are.

I was one of those kicked off the "unlimited" dial up accounts (£25 a
month) before the days of ADSL for being a "business user". I'm not a
business user of course, wasn't then either - I just used the
connection a lot. Of course they cut the access the day after my £25
had been taken and refused any refund.

Bastards the lot of them.
