Well, one presumes there is a genuine product or service being sold and
that is ultimatly the only souce of income.... in other words - you may
well get some daft plonkers trying to promote the deal by spamming
newsgroups, but I have not seen anything to suggest the deal itself is
illegal.

(although with Tiscali, one might have to question the "genuine service"
bit sometimes ;-)
