Tiscali DNS problems

Anyone else getting "Website could not be resolved to an ip address" on
Tiscali BB. Its been like it for 3 days now on and off on various websites
like Ebay and Empirestores and is getting annoying.

Yes, everyone who is using their DNS servers.
They say you can opt out if you ask, it hasn't worked for me so far.

No, this has not been resolved. Mala Baruah (see below) says he "has done
the needfull" for me
but DNS errors are still returning a page from
http://results.ispconnect.co.uk often containing sponsered links.
If you cannot remove this service please tell me, and I will use a
third-party DNS server.

Either :

a) install Treewalk - www.ntcanuck.com It works "out of the box" and
does exactly what its supposed to;

or

b) change your DNS resolver settings to use someone like
www.opendns.com - this does sometimes cause issues (like requests for
*.bbc.co.uk will get routed to the BBCs New York site).

The long-term answer of course is to withdraw your custom from Tiscali
;-)
