I noticed yesterday evening that my Modem / Router lost its ADSL
connection yesterday for approx 2-5 seconds, when it came back on it
was registering the following (mind you my connection speed was
definitely 2 meg on Tuesday):

Downstream: 8128 Kbps.

Upstream: 832 Kbps.

Transmit Power: 11.9 DB.

SNR Margin:

13.5 DB Downstream.

8 DB Upstream.

Line Attenuation:

33.5 DB Downstream.

19.0 DB Upstream.

It all appears to be working OK (as far as I can tell), even though it
is Tiscali! ;-)

Best Wishes to one & All,

Gaz.

Yes, some users on Plus.Net are also seeing those figures, but only
a fraction (10% or less, at present) are connected via Tiscali's LLU
network. New customers might find they are moved onto LLU if they're
living in an area already served by Tisclai LLU kit. They might later
get the higher speeds (up to 16 Mbps) if they are on the PAYG account,
and Tiscali has sufficient numbers of users at that exchange. Peter.

Yes, but about 6-8 weeks ago now!

I had almost forgot about it, has I have not heard anything from
Tiscali and thus far to date (Sat. 03/06) I have still not heard
anything from them, but no surprises in that!
