I think this is a networking problem andnot a mozilla problem
>> I am using mozilla1.7.12 on fc4
>> for about a month I have been unable t access java.sun.com
>> I get timeouts every time

yes, cleaned cache several times
new status; I removed the gateway from between my box and the dsl
modem/firewall, and was able to hit java.sun.com no problem
when I put the gateway back, I can hit everything but java.sun.com
grepped around on my box and thegateway looking for sun or web address,
no luck
can anyone suggest which log file might have the info

TIA
