Hi,
I've captured this file:
=======
+OK Hello there.
USER userjeden
+OK Password required.
PASS R4hZ7joD
+OK logged in.
STAT
+OK 1 3873
LIST
+OK POP3
1 3873
..
LIST 1
+OK 1 3873
RETR 1
+OK 3873 octets follow.
[...]
*
..
DELE 1
+OK Deleted.
QUIT
+OK Bye-bye.
=====

Where there's "[...]" it is a content of that file.
Now because that content is quoted-printable and contains non ascii
characters it is somewhat unreadable.
Is there a way I would put that file into a mailbox and read it with
mail-client?

I tried with mutt and .maildir/new to no avail:
mkdir .maildir
mkdir .maildir/new
cp <my file> .maildir/new
mutt

I could see the message there but the entire message was unaltered by mutt.
It just showed the same file instead of (presumably) properly encoded
message.

Any hints?

Sure, put it into the body of an existing mail as a multipart
message, if it's an attachmente it would be probably encoded, so you have
to specify that is encoded.

Let's say I'm using kmail and there's this directory: ~./Mail/Inbox/new
what should I do?
$ nano -w ~/.Mail/Inbox/new/somemail <enter>
and then paste my file in there, close nano saving the changes and open the
mail in kmail?

You'd better change your password now!
