I'm about to sign up to a deal on there website which offers 300 anytime
minutes, 1000 texts + other things + free nokia n70 for £30 a month.

I'm currently on o2 and had a pretty good service so far. However they do
not offer near the amount of minutes and texts and when the n70 is available
I will more and likely have to pay around £50 for it. Also, o2 do not have a
UTMS transmitter in my town whereas three do.

I cannot ever see me going over the inclusive minutes and texts so should
never receive a bill for more than £30.

Will I live to regret signing up to three? Are there any happy three
contract customers?

Dan

I am with 3 on 3 of my phones, and get most of the money back via cashbacks
(various independents) - mostly no complaints, pretty good service.

having worked for them i personally wouldnt touch them with a barge pole,
most of the time its ok but if something goes wrong it can take months to
sort.

this is coloured by my experiances of the worst cases and management
incompitance but theres a reason i never had a staff phone.

terrible coverage, don't say you haven't been warned!!!

It's the curse of the fifth network, look at Channel 5.

On a general note, something to consider - people rarely write when
everything is going fine - so you will tend to find only horror stories
about xxx provider of any service - I heard lots of horror stories about NTL
Broadband, but have never had an issue with it myself.

So if 1 million "3" customers are happy, very few of them will bother
telling the world about it - so you will only read about the "vast" 1,000
people who have had bad experiences :-) .

A "few" ?
67% churn rate for 2004 - the highest of any UK Telco, ever.

There are - I'm halfway through my Second year as a happy "three"
customer.

There's been a couple of minor glitches, like losing Roaming onto O2 in
Scotland for a day or so, but I find the advantages outweigh the
disadvantages.
