Hello all.
I have just moved into my new office, and I have had a thomson ADSL wireless
router hooked up to our broadband provider.
I ordered two thomson wireless adapters which worked fine with some hassle,
and I have two laptops both with existing D-Link Airplus 650+ adapters.
I have tried to add the thomson wireless network as per the instructions,
and I am unable to connect.
One thing which bothers me is the "Wep Key Index". On the thomson adapters,
the WEP key only works on Index 0, but the D-Link adapters only allow a
selection of 1,2,3 or 4 (no 0).
I have been all the way through the Thomson web interface and cant find any
mention of "key index".
Anyone else experienced this problem and / or been able to fix? I am
thinking about trying to install generic wireless drivers to the D-Link or
even try installing the Thomson drivers to it - not sure if it will work
though.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Gary.
