thinkpad x30 - wireless question

I have just installed Ubuntu Dapper on a second hand
thinkpad X30. Everything worked fine except wireless.

My networking shows me two wireless interfaces : wifi0 and eth1

Why are both listed as wireless? The device manager shows me I have a
Cisco Wireless Aironet wireless card installed.

But is this wifi0 or eth1?

Any pointers would be much appreciated.
