Hi, I'm new to this group.

My ISP at the moment is Force9 @ £14.99 per month but am thinking of
changing.

Any suggestions please ?

TIA

More information needed. Usage pattern (times of day), download limits,
do you need email, how much do you want to pay, do you actually want any
customer service...

Well, Force9 is a good ISP and I can not fault their customer service. Call
center is in Sheffield and all speak English. it's that I chat to othewrs
who say theirs is cheaper. I am on the internet most of the day and evening.
I get mail using Outlook Express and I also get newsgroups.
Just looking to see if there is a better deal out there really.

Don't worry yourself about 'cheaper' ISPs as you get what you pay
for. Most ISPs front desk support is now overseas & are generally bad
to useless (quite a few have non geographical numbers so you probably
pay more when you do phone).

If you're happy stay right where you are & thumb your nose at the nay
sayers, don't be a lemming....

Thanks for giving me a good laugh ;-)

You do realise that you are talking about +Net? Yes, I was with F9 for
a while too.

You've clearly not heard that things have changed for the better at
F9/Plusnet since BT bought them out.
More BT Centrals, customer service response improved, etc. and prices kept
reasonably low, compared with their new parent company's offerings.
And as the man said, you can hold an intelligent conversation with them -
unless you can't speak "Yorkshire", of course ;-). I know that I prefer that
to "Bangalorese".

George

I think it must be one of the remaining few, yes BT own them but they are
allowed to carryon business as a single venture, that are based in the UK
and are answered by ENGLISH speaking people.
