Is there a way to connect XP and 98SE on a network?

Does anyone know how to connect two computers(one 98, one
XP) on a network for sharing a printer? Both computers are
connected to the same router.

I am also looking for a solution to this problem. My
network used to connect but now demands permission to
share resources. Router is Linksys 4 port

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on both computers and tell it that they
connect to the Internet through a residential gateway (router). It
will make all the necessary network settings:
