i wanted to be able to use my television as a monitor,
what program/hardware can i use to achive this?

Well the broadbandnet should have given away the fact that this
newsgroup is for networking hardware not video hardware. It is in fact
specifically only for the Microsoft networking hardware.

You might try in a different hardware newsgroup that isn't being hosted
on the Microsoft news servers as all the microsoft.* are hosted by
Microsoft. I only say that because Microsoft doesn't make any such
hardware. You might also try on a newsgroup for the operating system
you are using.
