There kidding right???

Got a letter from Pipex saying I have falied a upgrage to 2mb from 1mb

Well the joke is I have allready had 2mb from pipex as part of there trial
and had it for 2 months no problem, only downgraded as I didnt really use
it enough to pay £40

I am like 0.5KM from the exchange and Attenuation of only 8db down 15db up

God knows what there doing in BT to make a balls up like this!

Can still fail the database check. I'd call them and ask them to place a
manual order. Do you know what your line attenuation figures are?

Do you not think going from 2mb to 1mb is a downgrade - surely it's going to
fail as an upgrade!

Thanks for the reply Bob,

Here are my line stats
Down
SNR 39.6db
Attenuation 8.0db

Up
SNR 30.0db
Attenuation 18.0db

Maybe I should of moved to plusnet ;-) , I cant get anybody at Pipex gave up
after
40mins on hold, I sent them a email but got a autoreply saying I should wait
3days
for a real reply.

But bert, it DOESNT say from 2mb to 1mb... it says TO 2mb FROM 1mb.

i.e. going UP from 1 to 2

Have you explained to them you had the service before and it was working
fine?

Those line stats are far better than mine, and I;m on 2MB.
